Digestive Disease Associates is an established Gastroenterology practice located in Branford, CT. We are looking for an experienced, certified medical assistant to fill an exciting new and evolving role in our growing practice.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Previous EPIC Ambulatory (outpatient office) experience preferred
Job Duties:
- In-Basket/phone call/patient message management (Respond to requests for medication refills and result requests)
- Chaperone visits, prepares for and assists with in-office procedures such as anorectal manometry, hemorrhoid banding and capsule endoscopy.
- Performs Fibroscans
- Set up/stock exam rooms
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
